Broadlands Estate at Romsey, Hampshire - Blasts from the Past! - A welcome return for the EventPlan immensely popular, major Classical Greek to Space Race multi-period event, now set within magnificent parkland at the home of the late Earl Mountbatten of Burma. A highpoint of the event season with over 40 top groups of performers, this show was immensely popular when previously held at Cliveden and is definitely one not to be missed. Enjoy battles, military displays, living history and entertainments, plus Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypasts including on Saturday their Lancaster bomber. Visitor admission charge applies.

Sheffield History Fayre - The Sheffield Fayre - The eighth year of this superb quality Ancient to WWII multi-period display with battles, combat, displays, living history, medieval tournament, encampments and entertainments, as part of this extremely popular annual event. Free admission, modest on-site parking charge applies.

Stamford, Lincolnshire The Earl of Essex's Regiment are involved in a multi-period event in the beautiful town of Stamford, nr Peterborough. The event is due to be a free to public event celebrating history, and ECWS together with a few other groups from other periods will be the ain attractions, with other stands and exhibitors filling the Town Meadows which is in the heart of Stamford town. Funding is from lottery and local business sources, and is an exciting event for the town and a fantastic end to the main season of events. We will be carrying out Drill displays, Living History activities and a main battle on both days, with a Schools day on the preceding Friday.
