Earl of Essex Regiment of Foot

The Roundhead Association is a 17th Century re-enactment group representing the Parliamentary forces of the English Civil Wars. We take part in a wide variety of displays across the UK and Europe with our colleagues from the King's Army who represent the Royalist forces of the period.

Together we form the English Civil War Society which is soon to celebrate its 30th Annniversary.

We are currently working on a new website and in the meantime have taken up the offer of space from one of our regiments, please take a look around the site which introduces the various aspects of our hobby.
